St. John’s, Antigua, June 1, 2009 – A.S Brydens & Sons (Antigua) Ltd. has made a sizeable donation of baby supplies to the Mount St. John’s Medical Center. These items include Huggies diapers, wipes, bibs, changing pads and baby cutlery. "The Brydens team is delighted to work closely with organizations throughout the country that are devoted to quality and affordable health care for all children," said Leslie Osborne, Huggies Sales Representative at Brydens. "This is just a part of several new initiatives we'll be introducing to the community in the months ahead.” “At monthly costs of more than $100 per bottom, keeping a baby in dry, clean diapers is costly,” said Salma Crump, Marketing & Communications Manager at MSJMC. “For many, it can be tough. Infrequent diaper changing increases the risk of many health problems and we’ve heard from the experts about the linkages between infants crying non-stop from being in soiled diapers and abuse,” according to Crump “For these reasons, we continue to look for creative ways to assist our moms in the Maternity Unit.” ### About Mount St. John’s Medical Center Mount St. John’s Medical Center (MSJMC) is a 185-bed modern medical complex which provides full inpatient, diagnostic and physician services to meet international standards.
