Rehabilitation & Therapy FAQ

Everything you need to prep for your incoming healing appointments at Sir Cuthwin Lake Medical Centre.

Comfort and structural mobility are key! We highly recommend bringing/wearing:

  • Loose, Comfortable Clothing: Attire allowing open physical motion like sweatpants, gym shorts, leggings, or loose t-shirts.
  • Targeted Access: Wear shorts if recovering from knee/ankle issues. Tank tops or loose V-necks are best for treating shoulder or neck tracking zones.
  • Supportive Footwear: Athletic running sneakers or closed-toe shoes featuring secure tread grip. Avoid flip-flops, sandals, or heels for safety reasons.
  • Keep it Simple: Leave hanging jewelry items safely at home and secure long hair up out of the field treatment workspace.

  • Initial Evaluation: Your baseline tracking visit runs the longest, spanning roughly 45 to 60 minutes to run accurate system diagnostic profiles and blueprint your custom roadmap.
  • Follow-up Treatment Sessions: Standard functional progression care sessions span from 30 to 60 minutes based on explicit daily modal prescriptions.

Yes, please make sure you come prepared with your official physical Appointment Card to maintain chronological schedule accuracy. On your initial baseline evaluation file build, ensure you provide your signed formal physician referral sheet, valid photo identification, and active MBS or private insurance coverage documentation.
